{heart} Japan Printable Kit

Kate from The Shopping Momma participated in a super cool Target
(as in THE store, Target) challenge to create an affordable household party using Target's Spritz Partyware.

The theme: Cranes for Kids----a party to help those who have suffered in the recent devastation in Japan. She is proposing to set up a party to benefit the youngest victims of the earthquake and tsunami by doing any of the following with her Cranes for Kids party idea:

(1) Have a “Crane Sale” – think bake sale but with origami cranes. Donate the proceeds to the American Red Cross Relief Effort.

(2) OshKosh B’Gosh Cranes for Kids – bring your cranes into your local OshKosh store or upload images of your cranes to OshKosh’s Facebook page and the company will donate a piece of clothing for every crane. (This offer ends April 25, so get folding!)

(3) Students Rebuild is collecting cranes until April 15 and the Bezos Family Foundation will donate $2 for each crane to the Architecture for Humanity.

You can read more about this story, how you can help, how she did the set up for the party and see more photos HERE.

So how did I play a small tiny part in this? Kate loved the
Rainbow Printable Party Kit that is for free download on this blog but its birthday theme was not quite right so she asked me if I would customize it to match her theme. I could not possibly say no to this great cause so I quickly converted the files to match her party. Here are a couple of teaser photos!

Gotta love that printable party invitation next to the origami paper crane!

GET THE FREE PRINTABLE FILES!

She has the new printable party files that I created for her up on her site HERE--you MUST stop by and see all of the items--they look so cute and very kawaii! Feel free to download the printable files and create your own Cranes for Kids party and help bring a little relief to those affected by this devastation in Japan by using one of her ideas on how to raise funds or you can up up with your own!.

I think Kate did a fabulous job and I thank her so much for thinking of me to help :)
